MENSWEAR FASHION : ADA + NIK

Exciting news for all men out there, because two of the hottest names in Fashion have come together for one of the most fabulous new collection launches to date : Ada+Nik. 

For those of you that watched the London Correspondent Search here on Fashion One, you will be all too familiar with the fabulous judge and fashion creative Nik Thakkar. During my trials and challenges Nik always gave very specific advise and I was really keen to impress him throughout the show. I've been lucky enough to meet up with him a couple of times prior to filming and let me tell you all he is SUCH a sweetheart (as well as being gorgeous!)

He's teamed up with womenswear designer Ada Zanditon to create a distinctive, unique menswear brand which is due to launch at the upcoming London Collections: Men in June.

Ada + Nik will feature ten pieces bringing to life Thakkar's adoration for a monochrome and minimalist luxe aesthetic. The collection will be including sheer and eel skin t-shirts, kilts, leather detailed shorts, a statement biker jacket, open back structured dress shirts and a human hair, bamboo and calf leather jersey to name a few pieces, all of which are ethically sourced and produced.

Nik says, “I have been a huge fan of Ada’s work for years now – and adored her bespoke menswear pieces for Patrick Wolf. Her unique structuring and use of silhouettes made the decision to partner with Ada an easy choice to bring a vision that I have had in mind for this brand to life.”

Ada says, “Nik is one of the most stylish men I know, it’s an honour to be co- designing this collection with him. I have often been asked about creating menswear - but always found it a challenge to pinpoint a male muse or masculinity that really embraces the Zanditon attitude of bold sexy fearless elegance. Nik really is all of this and more - a modern warrior prince for the 21st Century. Working with him gives me a real role model of everything that I want our collection to be.”
