LONDON COLLECTIONS : MEN SS15

Its somehow that time of year again, summer is just upon us and LC:M SS15 is here. From Sunday 15th until Tuesday 17th I have been hopping between runway shows at the BFC Show Space - Victoria House and The Old Sorting Office in London to capture the finest British menswear talent.

It feels as though AW14 has barely left us and we are already looking ahead to next summer. I remember the exact same feeling this time last year which just reiterates how fast paced the fashion world really is.

This seasons collections certainly did not disappoint and luckily for all the attendants the British weather was for once on our side allowing us all the celebrate the world's most innovative emerging talents in the sunshine. LC:M celebrity supporters came out in full force and included the stunning Jourdan Dunn, Jesse Metcalfe and Greg James alongside BFC ambassadors David Gandy and Oliver Cheshire.

With so many talented designers exhibiting, I've picked out my top three runway highlights to share with you from SS15.

Hackett I simply have fallen in love with this terribly traditional brand that just seems to get stronger every single season. As usual, they chose an outstanding venue, this season it took place within the grounds of the Honourable Artillery Company. The SS15 collection was based around great British sporting events such as the boat race and polo with the stylish male spectator of the events taking centre stage. My favourite part of the show was the finale, in which Mr Hackett himself strutted down the runway with his very own gorgeous polo team.

Oliver Spencer Oliver Spencer put on the most entertaining and exciting show of the season, celebrating the world cup giving his audience a dose of Rio fun with a steel band and carnival dancers.

Drummers took the centre catwalk and played the catchiest beats so that even the FROW where bopping in their seats. The clothing featured laid back silhouette, perfect for the English man on his travels whilst the fabulous mix of models walked to the beat in colour combinations of blue, red, yellow, oatmeal, white and black.

Agi & Sam I simply have to mention this amazing designer duo because they just keep surprising us with innovative and fresh designs every season. These guys just hit the nail on the head every time we see a new collection, each time different to the last but with a real sense of who they are as creatives and with a huge following its clear to see I'm not the only one that is loving their work. SS14 saw an influence of traditional Japanese elements with the use of kimono style necklines, socks and sandals and the most amazing pleated trousers. Yet another stunning collection, congratulations boys!
