Taylor Swift Admits She’s a Crazy Cat Lady

Taylor Swift’s five year plan is far from the lovey dovey romance that you see in her music videos. In fact, it’s as far from a storybook ending as you can get. In an interview with The Telegraph, the 25-year-old ‘Love Story’ singer revealed some surprisingly bleak predictions for herself.

When asked about where she’ll be when she turns 30, Taylor told The Telegraph, “Let's be honest. No one's going to sign up for this and everything that goes with it. ‘Hi, nice to meet you, want a date? Do you love camera flashes? I hope you do!”

Taylor didn’t stop there, however. She painted a picture of her life at 30, saying, “[I’m] just surrounded by cats. So many cats, they’ve divided themselves up into armies and [I] wander around lint-rolling the couch [...]”. Considering that most of her songs are about relationships and romance, the comments seem especially cynical. So why all of the doubt?

Taylor claims that she can’t even be seen with a member of the opposite sex without rumors running rampant. Taylor has been connected to many love interests––some real and some fake––including teen heartthrob Harry Styles and John Mayer. Taylor confided that she gets ‘really scared’ about ruining her friendships with the opposite sex because of the rumors that surround her love life.

But hey––with supermodel and pop star BFFs like Karlie Kloss and HAIM, who needs boys anyway?
